Vespa del Arte

Loaction: Florence, Italy

Italy is a historically rich country, overflowing with art. Thus Vespa del Arte or Art of the Vespa for the name of the convention. I wanted to elevate the Vespa as an art form. The event takes place in the plaza near where the statue of David is held and within the bus routes of the nearest airport for international travelers.

Pictures were treated with an acetone transfer to give them a fresco and appropriately art feeling to them. Icons were added like the Medici coat of arms, or the fun present logo. The are more free form to imitate the fun nature of the Font Sabon has.

Since Vespas have limited storage space the participants of the event are given smaller sized items. Brochure, and map will be pocket sized. The poster will be placed on telephone poles that would be seen as Vespa owners would drive past.
